Rajma ( Indian Curry )


Prep Time : 20 mins 
Cooking Time : 20 mins


Ingredients:

1 and half cup rajma/red kidney beans, soaked overnight
2 medium sized onions, finely chopped
4-5 medium sized tomatoes, finely chopped
1 and half tablespoon ginger-garlic, chopped
1 or 2 green chillies, chopped
½ tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
3 tbsp oil
6 to 7 cups water
salt or rock salt as required
some coriander leaves for garnish
bay leaves


Prep : 

In a grinder grind all vegetable to make curry masala ( onions , tomatoes , ginger , garlic, green chillies) . and keep paste aside . 
 soak the rajma in water for a good 8-9 hours or overnight.
in a pressure cooker, add the soaked rajma with bay leaves and salt and water  and boil till soft . Store water don't throw . 

In a wok add oil and then add grinded paste cook for 10 mins and then add haldi , red chilli , coriander powder and salt and cook for another 5 mins till it loose oil from the corners . 
add boiled rajma and stored water ( as much required ) and cook for 10 mins . 


Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti's .
